WebService Error-meta data contains reference that cannot be resolved

I was getting following while updating web service reference in my Visual Studio 2008 project.
"WebService Error-meta data contains reference that cannot be resolved"


By re-adding reference(my dll's reference) to Web Service fixed this issue .
